Six Flags Selects NCR for Point-of-Sale Technology and Services at Six Flags Great Adventure Park in Jackson, N.J.

ATLANTA – NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) today announced that Six Flags, Inc., the world’s largest regional theme park company, will install NCR RealPOS™ point-of-sale (POS) technology in its Jackson, N.J., Six Flags Great Adventure park.

“Six Flags’ dedication to offering the best family entertainment value in the world includes providing a speedy and pleasant checkout experience at food service and other concessions throughout the park,” said Six Flags Vice President of Finance Russell Kuteman.  “As we upgrade our POS solution at Six Flags Great Adventure, we expect the performance, reliability and serviceability of the NCR technology to meet our total cost of ownership objectives while providing our guests with outstanding customer service.”

Six Flags has purchased more than 300 NCR RealPOS 70 terminals with NCR RealPOS thermal receipt printers and cash drawers.  NCR is providing staging services to assure quick and trouble-free installation, which Six Flags plans to complete by early next year.

In addition, Six Flags has signed a five-year agreement for NCR on-site maintenance.

Based on the results at Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags said it plans to work with NCR to extend the POS initiative to additional parks over the next three to five years.
